Lani today announced the addition of a new espresso bar and café.
KiMOBEAN, set to open in early summer, will serve premium coffees
from select estate farms on Kona, Maui, Molokai and Kauai.
In addition to fresh drip brew coffee, KiMOBEAN’s

"Juice 101,” a juice, smoothie and
coffee bar providing healthy fuel for the body and mind, is slated
to open in January 2010. Created by restaurateurs Denise Walters
and Matthew Zubrod, the eatery features hand-pressed vegetables,
fruit juices and smoothies, and an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients
and general well being from food. The shop will also serve healthy
selections such as pressed sandwiches and salads.
The new restaurant opens on the heels of the
arrival of Hawaii’s first and only 4-D theater. Dubbed “The
Great 4-D Movie Ride,” the 24-seat theater opened in late
November, showing 3-D features and simulated “rides”
synchronized with full-range motion seats, surround sound and in-theater
